Christmas Party

Our Christmas party for the Tuesday night crew went pretty well, and we didn't have too much cleanup after, even though we crammed over 25 people into our little apartment! There was TONS of food (even more then what you can see in the pictures) and lots of fun.

First REAL Snow

Kandyce Outlandis

Kandyce got to visit us this weekend from that silly CO place. Here are some tidbits of our adventures. On Wednesday night, she flew in and we went to the Wildhorse and met up with some friends. On Thursday we had Skier's french toast before we went to Singing beach, where Kandyce and I got to dutch dance on the sand, and we jumped to avoid the waves. Then we went into Salem and walked around for a while, going to a bookstore that was ridiculously unsafe and certainly a fire hazard. We came home to an amazing beef stew that was cooking all day. On Friday morning, Dan made some eggs for us, and then we spent the whole day in our PJs. Saturday was spent mostly in Gloucester (and SugarMags) and then Kandyce went off with Dana for a while. Sadly, Kandyce had to run away this morning, just when it was starting to snow. I miss her already!

Decorating For Christmas

The Saturday after Thanksgiving, I was up for work and done by 1, so Dan and I did a bit of decorating. Here are a few pictures.

Thanksgiving

For Thanksgiving, Dan and I went to visit Grandmom Lauer in her assisted living facility, Norumbega. After dinner and some serious domino games, we headed to East Hampton for Thursday night and most of Friday. I had to work at the butt crack before dawn on Saturday, so we headed back to MA after lounging around with my family, playing some gripe rummy, and a tasty dinner.

Emma Jean Nicole Roy

Adam and Melody had their absolutely beautiful baby girl on November 8 just before 3am. She weighed 8lbs 4oz and was 20 inches long. Look at her hair! Emma Jean Nicole is so feminine and lovely! Yay for the Roys!
