July

Well, July was crazy busy. Every Monday night we had our baby classes where I watched Dan learn a lot about pregnancy, labor, delivery, and babies. It was fun! Plus, I got a back rub every Monday night. Yay, me! The only downside was that during our hospital tour, there were two babies int he nursery. One of them was normal. The other was 10lbs, 14 oz, delivered naturally with no meds. I will let you digest that info.
Other events included the 4th picnic in East Hampton, and then the Old Home's Day parade on the 11th. While we were in CT, my mom hemmed my dress for Leanne's wedding. The 17th was the Allen's rehearsal, and then their wedding the next day. It was so much fun.
Our big trip to Wisconsin for Leanne and Daniel's wedding was fantastic. I'm so happy for my roomie! She was so pretty and is so happy! I've posted full pictures of both weddings on Facebook, but here are a few. We also had fun at concerts at the park, when they weren't rained out. William is HUGE and continues to grow really really fast. The midwives always tell me that he will be quiet on some days and that I shouldn't expect him to be active all the time, but they really don't know him that well. William doesn't stop moving. Ever. At all. I don't usually go more than one minute without getting smacked around in there. I'm pretty sure that if you looked inside my belly, there would be lots of bruises! He is crazy strong. He also enjoys playing funny games in my belly, like guess which body part this is, and watch me move and hey, if I put my foot right here it looks like mom has three boobs. He's quite creative. I will try to get it on film, it's ridiculous watching my stomach morph!

June

June hasn't been super busy for us. We had a great time at Jonah Kreyling's first birthday, where Dan practiced his dad skills on the kids. This Friday officially marks the beginning of the third trimester for William, and he would also like everyone to know that he rather enjoys playing octopus (as he hits me from all sides all the time). Otherwise, we pretty much relaxed on the weekends in preparation for July. July is insane. Don't even try to plan something with us in July, there are no openings.

April/May

The last month has been mighty busy for us. William Paul is plugging along, getting bigger and more active every day. He also gave me Shingles. Well, I'm blaming it on him because when your preggers your immune system is down a bit and that's when it appears (that's right, you could have it right now, but it's just waiting until you least expect it to attack you!) We've spent a lot of time in CT with family for anniversary parties and birthday parties, and yesterday we went to Evan's law school graduation party, which was great fun. We are looking forward to having Memorial day weekend in MA and relaxing- a huge change in our current schedule. Here's a little picture of how Will and I are doing at 22 weeks (Dan will be in more pictures this summer, I promise!)

It's a BOY!!

And his name is William Paul. Pictures to follow, when we get our hands on a scanner.
Also, a funny little story. At the time of this ultrasound, we were exactly 17 weeks and 5 days along. William's body measured 17 weeks, 4 days. Just about perfect, right? Well, his HEAD measured at 20 weeks! OUCH!

February

Well, we got someone to take one of the chairs, and doing a little jostling around, we made room for the other one (so Dan can keep his masculine chair). Valentine's came and went. We had a very romantic day of doing laundry at Gordon, with a brief and delightful visit to the Kreylings in the middle. Dan turned 25 and got lots of chocolate cake; one from his mom and one from me! This last Friday, the Roys came by for some chili and cake. That was very fun, especially because they are getting into Scrubs (one of our addictions). Jonnycakes sent us a card from Cairo, which is way cool. The coolest card ever, actually. That's all for now!

Chairs and Stuff

Okay all you blog stalkers. I know you are there. I do it. You friend of friend of friend, who reads our blog. WELL to all of you, and the people we know on a face to face, more than a few times a year, basis, please take our relax the back chairs! We have two of them. And I want them out of our apartment. It's been over a year, and we haven't sat in them at all. They are nice and everything, but I want them out.
In other news, Christmas was wonderful. We spent the holidays with my folks, and then with Dan's family on the Saturday following. Our anniversary was yesterday, and it was great. We've had a wonderful, amazing year, and our cake was even better than remembered when we ate it last night. Plus Dan bought me flowers. YAY!
